Murdered man ID’d

Lebanon Police continue to search for the person, or persons, believed to be responsible for the shooting death of a local man early Saturday morning.

The victim, identified as Ronald Johnson Sr., 43, of Lebanon, was discovered by police around 2:30 a.m., Oct. 12, at 15 Joseph Street. Police, Chief Scott Bowen said in a news release, believe that Johnson went to the area to purchase narcotics, and they also believe there was a large crowd around at the time of the shooting.

Bowen said anyone with information is asked to contact the Lebanon Police Department at 444-2323.
