My Place Hotels of America recently announced its latest franchise agreement, one that will bring a new four-story, 63-room hotel to Lebanon's south side.
The hotel is set to break ground next month and will be located at 1004 Cumberland Center Boulevard.
"We are very excited to welcome My Place Hotels to Lebanon and to the Cumberland Center Development," Lebanon Mayor Philip Craighead said. "We feel it is an excellent location for the expansion of their brand. They will supply a service that our community is in need of, due to all the expansion and the new Wilson County Expo Center."
The hotel is owned by MP Lebanon LLC and operated by Legacy Management LLC. MP Lebanon representative Eric Myers said My Place presents a concept that fills an underserved niche in the hotel business and will be a "great fit" for Lebanon.
"Newly constructed economy extended stay hotels are hard to find," Myers said. "That's why we think a My Place Hotel is perfect for a busy interstate and construction market like Lebanon ... Couple that with easy access to Nashville, and a My Place Hotel was the logical decision."
All My Place Hotels offer nightly, weekly and monthly rate options. Each extended stay guest room will feature a My Kitchen, complete with a two-burner cooktop, a microwave and a full refrigerator. The property will be pet friendly and also include on-site laundry facilities, complimentary high-speed Internet service and a 24-hour My Store, located in the hotel lobby.
