Twenty-six local football standouts
Wednesday, Feb. 1 will go down as a red-letter day for local high school football as 26 Wilson County seniors made their college choices public.

Ten Mt. Juliet Golden Bears signed, including:
Braden Lovett, Univ. of the Cumberlands
Rowan Jasper, Bethel
Jaylan Jones, Bethel
Jacob Shanks, Georgetown
Aaron Weist, Rhodes
Jacob Bailey, Chattanooga
D.J. Delfendahl, Middle Tennessee
Justin Satterfield, Austin Peay
Trey Pruitt, Austin Peay
Drew Tompkins, Univ. of the Cumberlands

Watertown High produced three signees, including:
Rusty Staats, US Naval Academy
Vonte Bates, Bethel
Josh Deel, Cumberland University

Wilson Central produced 12 signees / commitments, including:
Colton Dowell, UT Martin
Blake Meadors, Univ. of Cumberlands
Gannon Starnes, Morehead State
Tyler Bowes, Morehead State
Cole McCorkle, Bethel
Ian Harris, Bethel
