Workers installed new fitness equipment at Don Fox Park in Lebanon this week.

Lebanon Mayor Philip Craighead explained that it was something that needed to be done. "We had some deterioration at the park. There was some wood - people getting splinters," he said. "We started looking for what would be a good addition to the park and decided on this. It is good, heavy duty equipment that will last a long time."

Installation of the new Exercraft equipment, by PlayCraft Systems, began over the weekend and was completed mid-week.

Mayor Craighead said there is still some clean-up needed in the park - but for the most part, the machines are ready to be used.

"Our residents go to the park for picnics, kids play on the playground, they walk on the track. This is an additional piece to the park that is going to be enjoyed by all," he added.
