A Lebanon City councilor wants to explain the action he took at the Feb. 18 meeting regarding an ordinance that would establish a community development fund to capture the city’s portion of sales and property taxes generated within the 257-acre Cumberland Development District and keep it in a savings fund.
Lebanon residents and business owners expressed their concerns about local government operations on social media following Tuesday night’s City Council meeting.
A letter was sent to Lebanon City Council members asking them to support an ordinance for the Cumberland Center Development District at the Tuesday, Feb. 4, regular meeting.
