By SABRINA GARRETT Lebanon High School Assistant Principal Jennifer Cothron will be transferring from her current position to the Wilson County Schools Central Office starting January 7, 2013. Cothron, who has worked at LHS for 12 years, is in her third year as Assistant Principal. She said her close relationships with the faculty and staff at LHS made the decision to transition a difficult one, but that working at the central office is “something I wanted to do in my career.” “The opportunity happened and it was a good time to make that transition,” she added. “I am going to more of a supervisor’s position and working more with teachers. I have made a lot of friendships at Lebanon. We are a tight-knit family and Mrs. [Principal Myra] Sloan has been wonderful to me.” |
