Darryl "Dean" Robinson, 74, died suddenly Dec. 27, 2012 at his home, Riceland in the Gladeville Community. Former Dean of Students at Lebanon's Cumberland University, he was born Nov. 24, 1938, son of the late Sam Sherrill and Christine Rice Robinson.

A 1956 graduate of Lebanon High School Class and Vanderbilt University, he was employed by the Tennessee Dept. of Education -- Food Services Division, and was a member of the Gladeville Church of Christ.

Services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30 at Lebanon's Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Speight officiating. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until service time Sunday at Ligon & Bobo. Entombment wil follow at Wilson County Memorial Park.

Survivors include: aunts Mary Wilson Robinson Swain and Martha Robinson Evans; special friends Vicki Sanders, Tommy and Austin Swift as well as many loving cousins.
