Funeral services were held Monday morning, Dec. 31 at the Partlow Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Ragsdale, 84, of Lebanon. A member of Gladeville Baptist Church and retired from the Baptist Sunday School Board, she died Friday Dec. 28, 2012 at Nashville's St. Thomas Hospital.

Services were conducted by Dr. Bruce Grubbs. Burial followed at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.

Survivors included: daughter Peggy (Joe) Lannom; brother Clyde (Betty) Ricketts; special friends Al and Carolyne Cook as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Ragsdale was preceded in death by parents Gershon and Floy Tarpley Ricketts; husband Sonny Ragsdale; and siblings Hall Ricketts, Edward Ricketts, Floyd Ricketts, Virginia Fuqua and Nettie Ruth Ricketts. Mrs. Ragsdale’s nephews served as active pallbearers.
