Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, Feb. 10 at Watertown's Hunter Funeral Home for Mr. Spurlock, 76, of Smithville. Born Oct. 25, 1936, he died Feb. 6, 2013 at DeKalb Community Hospital in Smithville.

Interment was at the Spurlock Cemetery in Statesville.
