Old Hickory Credit Union robbed Friday

Lebanon Police are asking the public to be vigilant in identifying a robbery suspect.

According to reports a while male, described as thin and anywhere from 45 to 55 years old, entered the Old Hickory Credit Union at 1401 W. Main Street in Lebanon around 2 p.m. The man, dressed in blue jeans, a gray t-shirt and a ball cap, handed the teller a note demanding cash.

Police said the teller did surrender an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect - after which, the suspect fled on foot.

It is believed that the suspect may have then ran to a nearby vehicle - possibly a white, Kia Sedona minivan.

No one was injured during the robbery. Detectives are still working the scene.
