Funeral services were held Friday morning, Aug. 7 at Mt. Juliet's Bond Memorial Chapel for Mr. Maxey, 81, of Gallatin.
Retired owner/operator of Cullman Maxey RV Sales and Two Rivers Campground, he died Aug. 4, 2015.
Mr. Maxey was a member of Gladdice Missionary Baptist Church, a founding member of TCPC Campground and a member of The Airstream Club of Nashville.
Services were conducted by Rev. Chuck Groover. Interment was at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: children Bud (Ashley) Maxey and Dawn (Dana) Hudson; brother Garry (Dot) Maxey, brother-in-law Bob Agee, aunt Maurine Sircy; grandchildren Ashley Joye, Brandi (Matt) Scharbach, Lala Maxey and Easton Maxey; great grandchildren Kylar Hudson, Lily Bugg, Jace Mashburn as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: parents Willie and Liddie (Sircy) Maxey; former wife Jo Anne Maxey; sister-in-law Mildred Agee along with brothers-in-law William "Bunky" Jones, Charles Jones and Tom Jones.
Active pallbearers: Dana Hudson, Matt Scharbach, Anthony Bryant, Kylar Hudson, Jimmy Davenport, Charles Ricketts, Dr. Howard Salyer and Andy Jones.
Honorary: Bob Sircy, Forrest Mathis, Eddie Long, James Agee, Larry Mills, John A. Hobbs, Willie and Helen McDonald.

Arrangements were in the care of Bond Memorial Chapel, Mt. Juliet.
