Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 24 at Hunter Funeral Home for Mr. Granstaff, 77, of Watertown.
A retired police officer and former operator of the Watertown CeeBee Grocery, he died Monday evening, July 21, 2014 at his residence.
Born in the Sykes Community of Smith County, he was the son of the late Clyde Lelon Granstaff and Ruby Lee Jones Granstaff. He was a graduate of Gordonsville High School and a US Navy veteran.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and prior to services on Thursday. Services will be conducted by Bro. Robert Amason and Bro. Kenneth Bowen. Interment with military honors at Jones Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include: his wife Iva Roberts Granstaff; daughter Tonya Blanks and son Michael Granstaff -- all of Watertown; grandchildren Kiana and Shawn Blanks; step grandchildren Tiphanie and Chelsie Poss; step great granddaughter Kylee; sister Laverne (Freddy) Martin of Alexandria; nephew, Jason (Resa) Martin of Murfreesboro; nieces Trena Gassaway of Dickson and Dana Christine Martin of Alexandria.
