CARTHAGE -- Funeral services for are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, July 17 at the Sanderson Funeral Home in Carthage for Mrs. McKinney, 83, of Smith County.
Born June 22, 1927, in Smith County, she died Thursday, July 15, 2010, at the St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.
The daughter of the late Meredith and Virginia Dickens Vaden, she retired from Precision Rubber and was a member of the New Salem Missionary Baptist Church.
Visitation Friday 4-8 p.m. and after 11 a.m. Saturday at Sanderson Funeral Home.
Services will be conducted by Eld. Charles Allen Gentry and Eld. Chris White. Interment will follow at the Smith County Memorial Gardens. 
Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law Billy Clark and Judy McKinney of Elmwood; grandson Walter Clark McKinney of Lebanon; sister Alice Poston of Rawls Creek; step-children Della Henry and Jim Floyd of Missouri; sister-in-law, Ogeal Armistead of Pea Ridge; and special friend Margaret Spencer of Nashville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Jim McKinney and Dr. James Floyd; sisters Mattie Woodard and Frances Mofield; along with half brother Herman Vaden.
Pallbearers: Jimmy Woodard, Mike Woodard, Wayne Mofield, Sammy Mofield, James Hailey, Joe Brown, Roy Vaden and Charles Vaden.
Memorials may be made to the New Salem Missionary Baptist Church.
