Local softball at a glance
LEBANON -- Friendship Christian's Courtney Petty threw a perfect game against White House Heritage Tuesday afternoon, April 19 as the Lady Commanders won 3-0. Petty did not allow a base runner and struck out 14 as FCS improved to 25-7-1.

Friendship scored all three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning as Courtney Miles slammed a two-run homer -- dropping the Lady Patriots to 27-7 overall.

The Lady Commanders are scheduled to host East-Middle District 1A rival Knoxville Webb Friday in a 4 p.m. doubleheader.

Brentwood 11, Lebanon 8
LEBANON -- Eleven hits weren't enough for Lebanon lost 11-8 to surging Brentwood High Wednesday.

Shelby Jones went 3-4 and scored one run to lead the Lady Devils offense. She doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the first and sixth innings.

Anna Bennett added three hits while Sarah Aubuchon banged out two for the Lady Devils. Brooke McClendon, Brianna Nagelhout and Megan Jaselskis chipped in with one hit apiece.

Wilson Central 11, Station Camp 1
GALLATIN -- Cleanup hitter Kaylee Richetto had four hits and drove in four runs Wednesday as Wilson Central scored an 11-1 victory at District 9-AAA rival Station Camp.

The Lady Wildcats had 14 hits and took advantage of eight walks while played error-free ball.

WCHS improved to 18-9 on the season and 7-2 in District 9-AAA.

Morgan Stokes added two hits, including a double, and drove in a pair of runs while Eboni Jordan slammed a two-run double.

Ashley Foster went the distance for the decision, scattering nine hits and striking out two.

Wilson Central is scheduled to play at Smyrna Friday in a 5 p.m. first pitch.

Watertown 19, Trousdale Co. 7
HARTSVILLE -- The Watertown High lineup cranked out 22 hits and scored 10 runs in the top of the seventh in Tuesday's 19-7 District 8-A victory at Trousdale County.

Amber Wright had four hits and drove in four runs while Bailey Griffin, Kaleigha Carter and Aaron Cherry also has four hits apiece.
