LEBANON -- Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, April 28 at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home for Mr. Smith, 80, of Lebanon.
Born April 16, 1931, in Cullman, Alabama to the late Buster and Pearl White Sandlin, he died Sunday, April 24, 2011, at Alive Hospice at St. Thomas in Nashville.
Mr. Sandlin worked in tool and die at Robertshaw for over 30 years.
Visitation Wednesday 4–8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Thursday at Ligon & Bobo.
Services will be conducted by Rev. Mark Allmond. Interment will follow at the Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
He is survived by children, Brenda (Ron) Harper of Mt. Juliet and Paul (Shelly) Sandlin of Chestnut Mound; grandchildren Paul Michael (Tina) Sandlin of Gainesboro and Cole Harper of Mt. Juliet; step-grandchildren Tiffany Rayl, Lexi Rayl, Nikki Fuchs, and Paul Fuchs Jr. -- all of Chestnut Mound; great grandson Logan Sandlin; and brother Eddis Sandlin of Cullman, AL.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Reba Kay Holman Sandlin; and a sister Gene Akins.
