LEBANON -- Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18 at the Partlow Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Tomlinson, 52, of Lebanon.
A member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church, she died at University Medical Center Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010 at age 52.
She was a waitress for over 20 years when she and husband Kenneth established and operated Phyllis’ Sunrise Diner, presently known as Sunrise Diner at 333 East High St. in Lebanon, from 2002 until 2006.
The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until service on Saturday.
Services will be conducted by Pastor John Petree. Interment follows in Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include husband and best friend for over 21 years, Kenneth Tomlinson; son Timothy Steven (Laura) Smith; granddaughter Taryn Jordan Smith.
Also surviving are siblings: Edward (Barbara) Coffee, Linda (Johnny) Ballinger and Brenda (Ted) Ferguson Malone as well as several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by parents Harlin and Angeline Mea Coffee, brothers Johnny and Jonah Coffee, sisters Stella Roberts and Helen Ann Coffee.
Active pallbearers: Ricky Coffee, Tommy Malone, Johnny Ballinger, Ray Tomlinson, Tony Tomlinson and Shirley Judkins. Honorary: Neal Agee Jr., Bobby Hickerson, Dr. Roger McKinney, Dr. Bill Robertson, Dr. James Peyton and Dr. Richard Peyton.
