A representative from Bill Goodman's Gun & Knife Shows confirmed they have booked several dates in 2017 at the Wilson County Expo Center. David Goodman, who operates the business, added that they intend to also book shows at the Nashville Fairgrounds in 2017, as well, which has been home to the popular expo for several decades.

In December, the Metro Nashville Board of Fair Commissioners voted to terminate any future gun shows at the Nashville Fairgrounds after fulfilling current contracts following three recent criminal cases linked firearms purchased at the fairgrounds to felons, according to media reports.

The representative for the gun expo said they were still awaiting the legal process to play out to determine if they definitively plan to host events in Nashville in 2017.
