The expansion will include increased coverage of Mt. Juliet and West Wilson news and events. "The Post will cover matters of importance to residents in the western portion of the county, including schools, business, retail and industry, growth, government, sports and more," said Editor Jennifer Horton. "News and photos from Mt. Juliet will be featured in each Wednesdays paper."
The newspaper will increase the number of outlets where it is available for sale to 50. In addition, The Wednesday Wilson Post will be delivered by mail to 4,000 additional homes in Mt. Juliet starting Aug. 14.
"The big increase in distribution will make the Wednesday Wilson Post a great buy for local Mt. Juliet businesses," said Sales Executive Becky Andrews. "We have created some new affordable ad packages to help these businesses reach this audience."
The Wilson Post is owned by Main Street Media of Lebanon. In addition to The Post, the company owns four weekly publications and produces a number of print and digital specialty products in Middle Tennessee.
Other publications include The Gallatin News, The Hendersonville Standard and The Bargain Browser in White House.
