Middle Tennessee Electric crews will be working to improve electric service in Lebanon July 22-23, which will require outages in parts of the city.
The scheduled work will require about 225 members to be without power. The scheduled times for the outages are from 11:30 p.m. July 22 to approximately 7 a.m. July 23.
Crews will work to double power line voltage and replace aging transformers along South Cumberland Street from just south of the Tennessee Boulevard intersection to the Lebanon Square.
Specifically, the affected locations will be residents and businesses along South Cumberland Street, South College Street, East Main Street, East Gay Street, East Spring Street and Thomas Terrace.
Should weather become inclement, the work will be postponed until July 29.
