Friendship 42, MJ Christian 0
LEBANON -- Senior Austin Taylor rushed for 230 yards and four touchdowns in the first half as Friendship Christian rolled to a 42-0 win over Mt. Juliet Christian Academy Friday at Pirtle Field.

FCS improved to 5-1 on the season and 2-1 in the East-Middle District 1-A while MJCA fell to 0-6 / 0-3.

All told, Friendship piled up 459 yards rushing, 505 in total offense while holding the Saints to 175 yards.

Friendship will host Davidson Academy Friday, Oct. 10 while Mt. Juliet Christian visits Pickett County High in Byrdstown.

Beech 34, Mt. Juliet 30
MT. JULIET -- Junior Rodick Napper scored on a two-yard run with 1:06 left in the game to lift Beech to a 34-30 victory over Mt. Juliet Friday.

QB Nolan Chowbay threw for a pair of touchdowns on passes of 82 and 26 yards and scored another on a nine-yard run.

With the loss, Mt. Juliet slipped to 4-3 overall and 3-1 in District 9AAA. The Bucs improved to 4-3 and 4-0 in the league.

The Bears will be back in action Friday, Oct. 10 at league-leading Hendersonville.

Gordonsville 16, Watertown 14
GORDONSVILLE -- Four turnovers, two fumbles and two interceptions, plagued Watertown in Friday night's 16-14 loss to Gordonsville at Turney Ford Field.

Watertown's Luke Turner rushed 26 times for 136 yards in the seesaw contest as the Purple Tigers fell to 2-5 overall / 1-2 in District 8A.

WHS will be back in action Oct. 10 at Jo Byrns High School.

Station Camp 31, Wilson Central 7
GALLATIN -- Station Camp's Josh Gilley ran for 117 yards and a touchdown Friday to lead the Bison to a 31-7 home win over Wilson Central.

Station Camp piled up 355 yards in total offense -- 288 coming on the ground.

Wilson Central fell to 2-5 overall / 1-3 in District 9AAA with the loss. The Wildcats will visit Shackle Island Oct. 10 for another District 9AAA contest, at Beech.

Gallatin 35, Lebanon 0
LEBANON -- Gallatin spoiled Lebanon's homecoming with a 35-0 blanking of the Blue Devils Friday night at Tribble Field / Watkins Stadium.

The loss was Lebanon's seventh in a row to the Green Wave and dropped the Blue Devils to 0-7 overall, 0-4 in District 9AAA. Gallatin evened its record at 3-3 / 1-2 in the league.

LHS turned the ball over three times, twice on fumbles and once on an interception. The Green Wave also blocked an LHS field goal attempt. Blue devil QB Jackson Gray was sacked five times for 44 yards in losses.

Soph Joseph Taylor led Lebanon in rushing with 68 yards on 11 attempts. Raheem Reynolds added 58 yards on 12 tries.

LHS will host winless Portland Friday, Oct. 10 at Tribble Field.
