Watertown will be on the road Friday, Sept. 7 for a Region 4A game at Red Boiling Springs.

MJ 49, Portland 7 --Mt. Juliet improved to 3-0 on the season with a 49-7 win at Portland Thursday night.The Golden Bears broke open a 14-7 game with 21 third quarter points as Contrez McCathern, Nolan Chowbay and Ben Cheaham all rushed for touchdowns.

McCathern ran for 78 yards on just five tries while Ben Cheatham contributed 74 yards on six attempts. Cheatham had 62 yards on seven rushes and QB Chowbay completed two of his five pass attempts for 29 yards.

Mt. Juliet visits LaVergne High Friday, Sept. 7.

Ezell Harding 27, MJCA 0 --Mt. Juliet Christian Academy fell to 0-3 on the season following a 27-0 loss to Ezell Harding Thursday at Suey Field.

The Saints fumbled seven times, losing six, and saw Ezell Harding tailback Dorian Banks score on runs of 42, 67 and 74 yards.

Noah Wilson led MJCA with 75 yards on 16 attempts while Elliott Lee ran the ball 11 times for 34 yards.

MJ Christian will be on the road Friday, Sept. 7 for a date with Clarksville Academy.

Tonight's schedule finds Friendship Christian playing at Gordonsville; Wilson Cnetral hosting Hendersonville and Lebanon playing at Gallatin.

On Saturday, McClain Christian Academy will host Sacred Heart in an 8-man game at Stroud Gwynn Field on the old Castle Heights Campus. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
