FCS volleyball in Paducah, Ky.

FCS 3, DCA 0
Friendship Christian's volleyball team improved to 31-10 overall and 4-2 in East-Middle District play following Tuesday's 3-0 win over Donelson Christian Academy at the Bay Family Sportsplex.
Game scores: 25-13, 25-15 and 25-15.
Bayley West paced FCS with five aces, five kills, three digs and a block.
Alycia Long scored five kills with two blocks while Morgan Vallett had four kills, five digs and two aces.
Libby Nave recorded eight digs; Cameron Burton served five aces, with eight assists and four digs.
Kendal Tipton has four aces, three kills and a dig while Madison Bryant passed out eight assists, two aces and a dig.
FCS is scheduled to play in Nashville vs. St. Cecila Wednesday and will host St. Andrews-Sewanee Thursday for Senior Night
Quad State Tournament
PADUCAH, Ky. -- Friendship Christian finished second in the Silver Division of the Quad State tournament -- going 4-2 over the weekend.

Station Camp 3, Mt. Juliet 1
GALLATIN -- Mt. Juliet dropped to 12-2 in District 9-AAA and 26-4 overall following Tuesday's 3-1 loss at Station Camp.
Game scores: 18-25, 16-25, 25-20 and 3-25.
Hitters Tavie Bell and Cassidy Harris each had 14 kills while SaraGrace Wilson finished with 22 digs.
Samantha Khoury and Amber Ehrhart each recorded 18 assists; Harris had eight blocks and Ashlynn Rudzinski served thrtee aces.
Mt. Juliet closes out the regular season at home Thursday, Sept. 28 vs. Hendersonville High.

Lebanon 3, Beech 0
Lebanon High's volleyball team swept District 9-AAA rival Beech High 3-0 Tuesday, Sept. 27.
Game scores: 25-25, 25-9 and 26-24.
Outside hitter Jasmine Fuqua paced the Lady Devils with 11 kills, four blocks and two service aces.
Maleigha Oldham finished with 10 blocks and six kills while Zia Hamilton served six aces.
Lily Baldwin recorded seven digs and Haylee Wilson had four kills.
LHS is scheduled to host Gallatin Thursday, Sept. 29 in a 6 p.m. varsity match.

MJ 4, Gallatin 0
Mt. Juliet's soccer team moved to 7-4 overall and 2-2 in District 9-AAA following a 4-0 victory over Gallatin Monday, Sept. 27.
Maya Bender, Britt Ellmore, Ally Cole and Brooklynn Butler all scored goals for the Lady Bears.
Assists came from Bella Agee, Shelby Oldham and Katie Luecke.
Keeper Hailey Walker had two saves to record the shutout.
Next up is a 5:30 p.m. home match Thursday, Sept. 29 against Murfreesboro Riverdale.

MJ 3, Cookeville 1
COOKEVILLE -- Mt. Juliet's volleyball team improved to 26-3 on the season following Monday's 3-1 victory over Cookeville.
Game scores: 25-19, 25-16, 14-25 and 25-17.
Senior Tavie Bell led the Lady Bears with 11 kills while Cassidy Harris came through with nine blocks.
Amber Ehrhart and Samantha Khoury each recorded 17 assists.
Samantha Khoury was credited with 17 digs and SaraGrace Wilson had four service aces.
Mt. Juliet is scheduled to host District 9-AAA rival Hendersonville Thursday at 6 p.m.

SOCCER: Lebanon 2, Wilson Central 1
LEBANON -- A rough and tumble District 9-AAA battle resulted in a 2-1 win form homestanding Lebanon Thursday, Sept. 22 over rival Wilson Central.
Red cards set two Lebanon players and one from WCHS to the sideline during the hotly-contested match.
Olivia Powered scored for LHS in the 33rd minute off an assist from Danielle Redmond as the Lady Devils took a 1-0 lead.
Lexie Hardin found the back of the net for Central to draw even at 1-1 in the 51st minute.
Lebanon's Ashley Grimes scored the game-winner in the 65th minute off an assist from Redmond.
LHS will be back in action Tuesday, Sept. 27 at home against Beech.

Watertown 3, MJ Christian 0
WATERTOWN -- Improving to 22-8 on the season, Watertown High blanked visiting Mt. Juliet Christian Academy 3-0 Thursday, Sept. 22.
Game scores: 25-11, 25-6 and 25-3.
Brenna Luttrell had four kills, seven digs and eight service aces for WHS.
The Lady Tigers will play Tuesday, Sept. 27 at Cannon County High in Woodbury.

MJHS 3, Hendersonville 0
HENDERSONVILLE -- Mt. Juliet improved to 11-1 in District 9-AAA and 26-3 overall following Thursday night's 3-0 victory at Hendersonville High.
Game scores: 25-22, 25-19 and 25-17.
Tavie Bell had 12 kills and three blocks for the Lady Bears; SaraGrace Wilson had 13 digs and Amber Ehrhart finished with 15 assists.
Mt. Juliet plays at Cookeville Monday at 6 p.m. then visits Station Camp on Tuesday.

FCS 3, Hendersonville Christian 0
HENDERSONVILLE -- Friendship Christian tuend up for a weekend appearance in the Quad States Tournament in Paducah Thursday, Sept. 22 with a 3-0 victory over Hendersonville Christian.
Game scores: 26-24, 25-18 and 25-18.
Kendall Tipton had nine kills and two aces while cameron Burton passed out 22 assists.
FCS improved to 27-8 overall and 5-2 in the district.

Station Camp 3, Lebanon 1
LEBANON -- Lebanon's Lady Devils slipped to 4-7 in District 9-AAA following Thursday's 3-1 home loss to Station Camp.
Game scores: 18-25, 16-25, 25-15 and 12-25.
