Mt. Juliet 12, Hendersonville 2
MT. JULIET -- Emily Bombard ripped three of Mt. Juliet's 13 hits in a 12-2 victory over Hendersonville High Tuesday afternoon. The Lady Bears improved to 19-6 overall and 5-1 in District 9-AAA play with the win.

Mt. Juliet took control early, scoring three runs in the first, five in the second and three more in the third inning.

Savannah Sanders scattered four hits for the win, striking out eight to get the pitching decision.

Mt. Juliet is facing two more District 9-AAA games this week, a 5 p.m. contest at Gallatin today and a 4:30 p.m. game at Lebanon on Thursday.

Lebanon 12, Trousdale Co. 0
HARTSVILLE -- Kaitlyn Eakes and Megan Brown pounded out four hits  each to back a two-hit pitching effort from Anna Smallwood as Lebanon thumped Trousdale County 12-0 Monday afternoon.
    
The Lady Devils improved to 16-15 on the season headed into Thursday’s 4:30 p.m. home game with District 9-AAA rival Mt. Juliet High.
    
Shelby Jones drove in three runs on three hits while Sarah Aubuchon and Brittany Nagelhout each drove in a pair of runs.
    
Leading 1-0 after one, the Lady Devils came up with five runs in the top of the second and added four more in the top of the fourth.
    
Smallwood struck out five in her five inning stint.

Friendship sweeps at SAS
SEWANEE -- Friendship Christian rolled to a pair of easy wins Friday, April 11 ripping St. Andrew’s-Sewanee 19-0 and 22-0.
    
The Lady Commanders improved to 19-9 overall / 9-0 in the East-Middle District 1-A headed into a 5 p.m. Thursday game at Ezell-Harding and a doubleheader Friday at Knox Webb.
    
Ninth grader Kendal Kelsh dominated the SAS lineup, throwing a perfect game in the opener and a one-hitter in the second game.
    
Kelsi Dickey drove home five runs in Friday’s opener and added four more in the nightcap.

MJCA 21, Community 0
WHITE HOUSE -- Mt. Juliet Christian Academy rolled to a 21-0 win at Community Christian Monday. Eighth grader Caitlyn Smith threw a five-inning no-hitter, striking out seven.
    
The Lady Saints (11-4 overall) scored five in the first and added seven in the second inning.
    
MJCA plays at Ezell-Harding today at 4:30 p.m.

Gordonsville 12, Watertown 1
SOUTH CARTHAGE -- Watertown managed just six hits in Monday’s 12-1 loss to District 8-A rival Gordonsville at Crump Paris Park.
    
The Tigerettes get a return game with Gordonsville 5 p.m. Thursday at Three Forks Park.
