WATERTOWN -- Family and friends will gather to remember and celebrate Mr. Hodges between the hours of 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19 at Hunter Funeral Home.
Mr. Hodges, 71, died Friday, Jan. 14, 2011 at his residence after a short illness.
He was employed at Vanderbilt University as an electrician from 1962 until his retirement as Electrical Foreman in 2001.
He spent the last ten years raising beef cattle fulltime on the farm in Watertown, enjoying his animals and the company of his friends, Danny and Anthony Hall, Medford Mathis, Tommy Cripps, Wayne and James Roberts, Jimmy Beadle and Roger Blair.
Survivors include: wife Pamela Sevy; daughter Terri Long; grandson Bradley Ricketts; three great-grandchildren; sisters Doris Baines and Linda Dunn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Willard Hodges and Martha Elizabeth Cassetty Hodges.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Leash on Life in Lebanon.
