Reward offered in armed robbery

Wilson County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect who robbed Covington Credit in Lebanon last Thursday.

A black male, described as 6 foot 2 inches tall and wearing a long black down jacket, black shirt, black pants and tennis shoes and wearing a red bandanna over his face, committed an aggravated robbery, according to authorities, at Covington Credit at 1123 N. Castle Heights Ave.

Witnesses said the man was armed with a blue steel single-barrel shotgun. The suspect left the business on foot heading west with cash from the register.
