Reward offered in lawn equipment theft

The Wilson County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) has sought the public's assistance involving the investigation of a theft from a local business.

On Saturday, March 11, the WCSO responded to Tony Bates Equipment, located at 3828 Murfreesboro Road, where it was discovered that six Gravely Zero-Turn Lawnmowers had been stolen. Surveillance cameras showed at least four male suspects with their heads and faces covered in what appeared to be ski masks. No vehicle description is available. One of the male suspects was wearing a coat or hooded sweatshirt that read "SUPERIOR" on the back. The mowers were 42-inch, 50-inch and 60-inch cut.

Anyone with information which leads to the successful identification, prosecution and conviction of the persons responsible could be entitled to a cash reward of up to $500 as well as a $1,000 reward from Tony Bates Equipment.
