Bob Rochelle has officially submitted his resignation as attorney for the Lebanon Housing Authority.
In a letter to exiting LHA Director Henry Harding, Rochelle noted that he had promised to stay with LHA until Harding left, and now that Harding is retiring and the board has selected Patrick Johnson as his replacement, Rochelle felt it was an appropriate time for him to resign as well.
“My retirement as the lawyer for the Authority will give Mr. Johnson and the board an opportunity to build a new team. Of course, I will be available if needed,” he wrote.
“I have worked with many excellent board members over the years. I have always found them to place the highest priority on the interests of the residents of the Authority, both present and future. Our present members are certainly illustrative of the high quality of citizens who have served in the past.”
Rochelle’s leave will be effective at the close of business on Oct. 31.
Rochelle and Harding are not the only recent changes to the board. Board Chairman Larry Hubbard also resigned recently.
