Funeral services for Mrs. Rose Davis Dillon are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Donald Owens officiating.

Interment will follow at the Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Wednesday 2-8 p.m. and Thursday after 11 a.m. at Ligon & Bobo.

Mrs. Dillon, age 73 of Lebanon, passed away Monday, Jan. 16, 2012, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.

Born May 25, 1938, in Ohley, West Virginia, she is the daughter of the late Silas Buster and Luvell Bell Carte Davis. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 44 years, James Lowery Jimmy Dillon on June 20, 2004; daughter, Kim Dillon Frankenfield; two sisters, Beverly Davis and Jennie Bryant; and a brother, John Davis.

She is survived by two sons, Danny (Tammy) Dillon and Richard Dillon all of Lebanon; eight grandchildren, Nicholas, Jason, Adam, Miles, Lucas, Austin, Lyric and Harmony Dillon; five great grandchildren, Layla, Bella, Morgan, Keaton and John Dillon; seven sisters, Janet McPhale of East Bank, WV; Kay Jeffries of Charleston, WV; Charlotte Robinson of Lebanon; Gloria Lawrence of Bluefield, WV; Pat Davis of Winchester, VA; Ada Kenney of Ohley, WV; and Phyllis Caldwell of Winchester, VA.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Carroll Oakland Elementary School.

Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home of Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.
