Rosetta Howard, age 45 of Gallatin, entered into ultimate healing on Tuesday April 5, 2016, at her sister's home surrounded by family and her beloved pet Puffy.

Funeral Service to celebrate her life will be Saturday, April 9 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Phil Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, with Allan Rashid, Lance Momberger, Jay Graves, David Stanfield, Keith Knight, and Greg Zirock serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be Friday, April 8 from 2 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, April 9 from 9 a.m. until time of service.

Rosetta was born in Nashville on Sept. 7, 1970 to James Howard, of Mississippi, and the late Brenda Faye Bolton Howard.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by niece, Johanna Webster; and cousin, Scooter Johnson.

In addition to her father, she is survived by sister, Felicia Momberger (Tom) of Gallatin; brother, Wayne Gann of Gallatin; and many well loved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Rosetta attained a Human Services Degree and served through Camelot, Mental Health Co-op, and Tennessee Department of Probation Wilson County Tennessee. Along her journey, Rosetta awed family and friends by displays of spiritual and personal strengths. Displaying grace under pressure, all while facing incredible adversities with dignity and determination. She stood to lead, rally, and support the local Relay For Life efforts. She also advocated the need for a local cancer support group, which is now formed at Carpenter Cancer Center at Sumner Station.

Special thanks to the many people who were involved in Rosetta's life, family, friends, prayer warriors, churches, caregivers, Tennessee Oncology, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Sumner Regional Medical Center, Brandywood, and Highpoint Hospice. In lieu of flowers, honor Rosetta's memory through memorials to Relay for Life, Gallatin TN, or Friends of Sumner in memory of Rosetta for the Cancer Support Group.
