At their most recent meeting, the Republican Women of Wilson County (RWWC) heard from Williamson County Republican Party Chairman Julie Hannah on the processes used in Williamson County to grow party participation and Scott McRae, project manager for the City of Lebanon Gasification Initiative. Pictured are Julie Brockman, Betty Jackson, Hannah, Jane Hollis, Martha Haley, Beulah Garrett, Terri Nicholson and Yvonne Hunter. The RWWC will sponsor an old-fashioned political rally and picnic with games and music by Shawn Pody and the Hit Men on Saturday, July 9 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the James E. Ward Agricultural Center. Barbecue and sides are included, and tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for children. Proceeds will go to the RWWC Political Action Committee to support state and local candidates. For tickets, contact Brockman at or (615) 405-4613. SUBMITTED
