Seth Price, one of the most honored athletes in the long history of Watertown High, signed scholarship papers Monday morning, March 6 to continue his education and baseball career with Lindsey Wilson University in Columbia, Ky.
Price, the all-time leading basketball scorer in the history of Watertown basketball and a Tennessee Titans Mr. Football semifinalist, Price has long let it be known he was interested in playing baseball in college.
A record-setting shortstop for the Purple Tigers, Price has played summer ball with several top-flight programs where he has also pitched.
As a junior in 2016, Price batted .476 with 17 walks, 43 steals in 44 attempts, 21 runs batted in and scored 34 runs. He led the team with 50 hits.
He was voted Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association all-state and was named to the Region 4 Showcase Team.
Price is the son of Lane and Kayla Price.
