Summers reportedly lost control of the vehicle and the tractor-trailer came to a stop on the exit ramp near mile marker 258. Officers approached the cab of the truck and reported that Summers was disoriented and had slurred speech.
Summers allegedly told the officers he had taken medication and consented to give a blood sample. Summers was transported to University Medical Center and officers reportedly found pills inside of the cab of the truck later identified as Hydrocodone.
Summers was arrested and booked into the Wilson County Jail.
