Lebanon Police Officers responded to 441 Princeton Drive after receiving a call about a burglary on Friday, July 5. The residents said that they had been out of town for the holiday weekend and returned home to find that someone had forced open their back door and taken several personal items, including a handgun.

Two technicians from the Forensic Services Unit processed the scene and officers interview witnesses in the neighborhood. A release from LPD stated that due to the diligent work of officers and detectives, a suspect, Tony West, of Carthage, was charged that same night.

Officers were able to return some of the stolen property to the victims.
