CU plans baseball kickoff PDF Print E-mail

The Cumberland University baseball team will host its annual Kickoff Dinner and Auction at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 1 in the Benton Jennings Center on the CU. The evening will include a silent and live auction of baseball memorabilia, with all proceeds benefitting the CU baseball program.

This year’s dinner will feature a Mexican Fiesta, so grab your sombrero and join the baseball program for a night of fun.

The Bulldogs will honor former player and current Austin Peay head coach Gary McClure, who is just 24 wins away from becoming the all-time leader in wins in the Ohio Valley Conference.Cost of the event is $25 per person.

Season tickets on sale -- Season tickets are now on sale for the 2013 Cumberland baseball season. The Bulldogs are set to play 28 home games, includ-ing four at Veterans Field, beginning Wednesday, Feb. 13 vs. former TranSouth Conference foe Freed-Harde-
 man University.

Cost of season tickets is $50 per seat and the home schedule features games against seven teams ranked or receiving votes in NAIA Preseason Top 25.
