Lebanon Police Department is searching for multiple suspects believed to have been involved in an early morning shooting that sent one man to the hospital in critical condition.
Lebanon Police Chief Scott Bowen said in a news release the victim was identified as Edward M. Freeman, 23, of 1420 Alhambra Drive. He suffered multiple wounds and was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center by LifeFlight helicopter.
Bowen said the incident occurred about 1:38 a.m., Monday, at 310 Floral Street, Lebanon. Officers arrived and found Freeman. The officers rendered first aid until Wilson County Emergency Management Agency arrived.
