Sutton Ole Time Music Hour to showcase Summer Nights

Sutton Ole Time Music Hour in the Jackson County community of Granville will feature smoked pork, grilled chicken tenders, whiskey baked beans and more prepared by Kevin Jones and the staff of Gordonsville's Timberloft Restaurant. SUBMITTED

The best in bluegrass music and a new summer menu will welcome Summer Nights back to the Sutton Ole Time Music Hour and the Jackson County community of Granville through August.

The weekly bluegrass show, now broadcast worldwide, will feature the following bands: Michael Fagan and the Fiddle Grass Band on July 22, Starkey & Clark on July 29, Jerry Butler & The Blue Jays on August 5, Mountain Cove Bluegrass Band on August 12, Andy Leftwich and Friends on August 19 and Craig Morris & King Cotton on August 26.

The Sutton Ole Time Music Hour also features a dinner service at the 1880 Sutton General Store at 5 and 6:30 p.m. Timberloft Restaurant of Gordonsville manages the dining room and has introduced a new summer menu for Summer Nights, a family style dinner including Timberloft hickory smoked pork, grilled chicken tenders, whiskey baked beans, garlic mashed potatoes, smoked cream corn, broccoli salad, cornbread, banana pudding, apple crisp and a drink.
