Tennova Healthcare - Lebanon to host sports screening day

Tennova Healthcare - Lebanon, formerly University Medical Center, will host its annual free sports screening day for Wilson County student-athletes on Saturday, April 16 from 7:30 until 11:30 a.m. at the physical therapy department on the ground floor of the patient tower.

Sports screenings are required by the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA), and a parent or legal guardian of the student-athlete is required to attend the screening as well. The pre-participation screenings are not a comprehensive evaluation of the student-athlete's overall health but are intended to screen for potential athletic health problems and may help identify conditions that could present a danger to a child in relation to sports.

For additional information, call (615) 443-6099.
