To the Editor:
On March 12, 2016, a benefit concert was held to honor Liz Reese and the Brooks House. On behalf of the board of directors of Community Homeless Outreach & Support, Inc. (dba Brooks House) and its residents, we would like to thank all that came out to support and enjoy a wonderful evening.
We would like to thank the visionary of this event, MJ Lucas, for making this a successful night. To our host, Capitol Theatre owners Bob and Pam Black, thank you for allowing this event to be held in such a beautiful place. To the fantastic bands, Rock Me Blue and The Blues Brokers, thank you for allowing us to sing along and dance the night away. Also thanks to the Wilson Post and The Lebanon Democrat for all support and coverage of this event.
We're so honored to have Liz Reese as our director, our leader and a true friend to all. She has truly taken Brooks House under her wings and successfully built the organization on a solid foundation. Her passion is seen and felt in all that she has accomplished throughout the community, always willing to give a helping hand to those looking for a hand up.
Each year, Brooks House continues to advance its mission of serving our homeless women and children by opening our doors for new beginnings. We have seen many lives changed for the better. It's with the blessings from donors/supporters as you; we will continue to see improvements in these women's lives as they move forward successfully.
Thanks again for your generous support of our efforts to serve the women and children of Brooks House and the love that we have for Ms. Liz Reese.
