Three Bears ink SEC baseball letters

Three Mt. Juliet High baseball seniors signed NCAA National Letters of Intent with Southeastern Conference programs during ceremonies held Monday morning, Nov. 14 at the MJHS gymnasium.

Aaron Brown signed with Vanderbilt after having de-committed from Mississippi State University last week. Brown, a RHP, went 7-2 as a junior for the Bears with an ERA of 1.05. He also hit .303 with 29 runs batted in and was the District 9-AAA Player of the Year in 2016.

Sean Hunley signed with Tennessee. Hunley hit .288 (.310 with runners in scoring position). He also went 1-3 on the mound with 20 strikeouts in 23.3 innings of work.

LHP Dylan Bonds signed with Arkansas. He went 5-0 for Mt. Juliet as a junior with three saves. He led the team with 76 strikeouts in 46 innings of work with an ERA of 0.91. Bonds gave up only six earned runs in 46 innings of work.
