Mt. Juliet Middle wins TMSAA Class AAA tourney
Mt. Juliet Middle School won the Tennessee Middle School Athletic Association Class AAA state basketball tournament, defeating Siegel Middle School 48-32 Friday, Feb. 3 in the finals at Dickson High School.

Riggs Abner led the way with 14 points and Josh Keck added 13 as the Bears ended the season 23-1 overall. Abner, Keck and Zach Blair were voted all-tournament.

Mt. Juliet Middle also won the Oakland Middle School Christmas Invitational, the Area III championship and the Sub-Sectional championship on their way to winning the state title.
