Track and field teams from Lebanon, Wilson Central and Mt. Juliet will head to Clarksville Saturday for the annual Governors Classic, staged at Austin Peay State University's recently refurbished Governors Stadium.

Lebanon prepped for Saturday by hosting an unscored meet Tuesday afternoon at Clifton Tribble Field which featured athletes from Watertown, Friendship Christian, Station Camp and host LHS.

Several solid performances were turned in despite windy conditions, including a sweep of the sprints by Watertown senior Darby Wood -- who won both the 100 and 200 yard events with relative ease.

Lebanon's Monica Macklin won the long jump at 15'4" while Lebanon's Anthony Haffner swept both the discus and the shot put.

Lebanon's boys finished second last weekend in the Riverdale High Early Bird meet.

The Blue Devil 4 X 200 relay finished first -- team members include: Jeremy Claud, Damion Jones, Damien Seay and D'Andre Harris.

The 4 X 100 relay also finished first -- team member include: Raheem Reynolds, Jeremy Claud, Damion Jones and D'Andre Harris.

Haffner took top honors in the disc while Reynolds doubled in the long jump and triple jump.

LHS school records
Allie Dozier has already set a record in the 3200 with a 12:56. Haffner set a new record in the disc back on March 15 with 128'.

WCHS reports wins
Wilson Central's boys and girls both brought home first place finishes in the King of Mountain Meet in Crossville.

Two athletes established new school records; Braidon Miller in the shot put at 49'1.5"

Addison Myers broke the school long jump record by seven inches with a 13'8" distance.
