{phocagallery view=category|categoryid=72|imageid=494|displayname=0|float=left}Green said the truck was hit by the train at the axle of the trailer, flipping the truck onto its right side. The engineer of the train and the driver of the truck sustained no injuries.

The driver was OK and the engineer was OK, Green said. If it was just 15 or 20 feet earlier, the truck driver may have been seriously hurt.

Green said the truck had Iowa plates but believed it to be based out of Georgia. He noted the truck is owned by TMC Transportation and was heading to Cumberland Drywall at 611 Railroad Ave. in Lebanon.

The accident remains under investigation as Green said he was looking into the laws relating to these types of railroad crossings and when a train was required to sound its horn.

However, he noted Vonier failed to yield at the crossing signs but said no citations would be issued.
