Three teams, 16 individuals to compete --
Wilson Central's girls along with both the boys and girls teams from Friendship Christian School will be in Rutherford County beginning Thursday, competing in the TSSAA state bowling tournament at the Smyrna Bowling Center.
In addition, 16 local bowlers are in the hunt for individual state titles as well.
Local individual qualifiers in girls Division I include:
Mt. Juliet senior Hannah Hayes (192.68) and MJHS junior Jessica Giacobbi (184.10); Lebanon freshman Lindsey Manning (181.43), Wilson Central senior Meghan Wofford (180.23), LHS senior Savannah Shirley (178.25) along with Wilson Central teammates Rickie Denson, a junior, (174.24) and freshman Megan Metz (172.22).
Individual individual qualifiers in boys Division I include:
Three Lebanon High bowlers, senior Dustin Brakefield (225.59), junior Peyton Bell (211.40) and sophomore Jarred Bradshaw (207.34) along with Mt. Juliet High junior C.J. Greenfield (201.22).
Five Friendship Christian boys are individual qualifiers in boys Division II:
They include: junior Nick Norton (210.38), junior Donny Turner (206.00), senior Cole Buttrey (180.10), senior Luke Shoulders (179.74) and senior Jacob Haskins (176.50).
