Approximately 50 members of the famous Tennessee State University Aristocrat of Bands will join the Mt. Juliet Christian Academy Pep Band for an exciting night of football and music during the Saints game with Zion Christian Academy Friday, Sept. 30 at Suey Field on the MJCA campus.

The Aristocrat of Bands is the main athletic band and marching band of the University Bands system at Tennessee State University. The band is known for its energetic and diverse repertoire and has performed on television and many professional venues.

The band has been called "one of the top show bands in the entire nation".

The two bands will join for some rousing music during the game with a special treat coming in the form of a TSU halftime performance. TSUs band is led by Associate Director, Dr. John McDonald.

MJCA Band Director, Josh Davis says the TSU band will make a real impression on his students.

Our kids will get to see what practice and working together can achieve when it comes to performing, Davis said. I know our students will be inspired by the quality of the sound and the performance level of the TSU musicians.

Hopefully, they will take this experience as a challenge to further develop their skill level when they see how much fun you can have performing.

The public is invited to join the Saints for a great night of football and music.
