The Commanders went 13-1 on the season -- outscoring their opponents by an average of 43-10. Honorees include:

Junior quarterback A.J. Long who completed 112-of-184 passes (60 percent) for 2,272 yards. He threw for 39 touchdowns with just one INT. Long also ran for 674 yards on 126 attempts (5.3 yards per rush) and scored 12 touchdowns.

Senior Ian Isbell (6-3, 280) made the all-state squad as an offensive lineman. A three-year starter, Isbell helped protect Long in passing situations while opening holes that allowed his team to run for nearly 3,000 yards and score 599 points.

Senior Tanner Martin (6-0, 225) earned all-state recognition as a linebacker. One of the top tacklers on the FCS defense, he was also a Tennessee Titans Mr. Football finalist. After playing last season as a down lineman, Martin made the transition to linebacker in 2012.

McNeal is the TSWAs Class 2A Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season. His overall record at Friendship Christian stands at 187-95, a winning percentage of .663.
