Lady 'Cats improve to 4-0
THOMPSON'S STATION -- Wilson Central's Lady Wildcats moved to 4-0 on the season following Tuesday's (Nov. 22) 57-29 victory at Ravenwood.
WCHS led 14-4 after one quarter and took a 28-13 lead into intermission.
Addison Byrd led all scorers with 17 points.
Piper Elrod added 12 and Bailey Kaposy chipped in with nine points.
Shelbyville Central 54, Lebanon 32
SHELBYVILLE -- Shelbyville Central bolted to a 25-3 lead and never looked back in Tuesday's (Nov. 22) 54-32 victory over Lebanon.
The Devilettes connected on only seven baskets and went 18-of-30 at the free throw line (60 percent) -- falling to 2-1 on the season.
Ninth grader Allissa Mulaski led LHS with seven points while Caleah Shannon and Zyrina Neuble each had six points.
Shelbyville's Jenna Holt knocked down four 3-pointers and finished with 21 points.
Mt. Juliet 56, Hillsboro 35
NASHVILLE -- Leading 22-16 at intermission, Mt. Juliet's Lady Bears (3-1) out-scored host Hillsboro 22-7 in the third quarter on the way to a 56-35 victory over the Lady Burros Tuesday, Nov. 22.
Emma Palmer poured in 20 points to lead four MJHS players in double digits.
Julia Maki added 14 while Nevaeh Majors and Aaliyah Frazier each had 10 points.
Middle TN Christian 39, Watertown 27
WATERTOWN -- Visiting Middle Tennessee Christian got off to an early 14-9 lead and closed the game on a 15-6 run in a Tuesday, Nov. 22 39-27 victory at Watertown.
The loss was the first on the season for Watertown (2-1) headed into a Wednesday home game vs. Clarkrange.
Maria Allocco had 10 for the Tigerettes while McKenna George and Claire Edwards each had four.
