Lebanon 3, Mt. Juliet 0
LEBANON -- Host Lebanon held off a determined Mt. Juliet squad Monday, sweeping the Lady Bears 3-0 in a District 9-AAA match. Game scores: 25-22, 25-23 and 25-21.

Briana Clemmons paced LHS with 11 kills and six digs while Jasmine Fuqua recorded 10 kills with six digs.

Nicole Painter added nine kills, four blocks and three digs; setter Zia Hamilton handed out 31 assists, with seven digs and five aces.

Erin Arnold had seven digs, Maleigha Oldham four kills and Alanna Clemmons three digs.

Tavie Bell paced Mt. Juliet with 10 kills, seven blocks and two aces. Amber Ehrhart finished with 13 assists and SaraGrace Wilson had 10 digs.

Mt. Juliet, 10-15 overall and 4-6 in 9-AAA, hosts Wilson Central tonight (Tuesday) at 6 p.m. and will play this weekend in the "Back to the 'Boro" tournament - hosted by Siegel High School.

LHS, now 14-2 overall and 9-1 in the district, is set to host Portland tonight (Tuesday) at 6 p.m. and will play at Station Camp Thursday, Sept. 24.

Wilson Central 3, Gallatin 0
GLADEVILLE -- Wilson Central improved to 11-13 overall and 3-7 in District 9-AAA following Monday night's a 3-0 win over Gallatin. Game scores: 25-13, 25-16 and 25-16.

Setter Megan Belcher had a busy evening with 19 assists, two kills, two aces and a dig. Delaney McCorkle drilled nine kills with four service aces, two assists and a dig while Shelby Coombes had six kills, five blocks and three digs.

Loren Schmitt served eight aces, had six digs and two assists; Averi Usher finished with four kills and two digs; Taylor Tucker had four kills and Kendal Tomlin had five digs.

The Lady Wildcats will be back in action tonight (Tuesday) at Mt. Juliet. On Thursday, Sept. 24 WCHS plays at Hendersonville.

Friendship 3, MJ Christian 0
MT. JULIET -- Friendship Christian rolled to an easy 3-0 win over Division II rival Mt. Juliet Christian Academy Monday. Game scores: 25-19, 25-17 and 25-7.

Hitter Aja Jones led the attack with 13 kills, four blocks and four aces. Madison Bryant recorded a double-double with 29 assists and 10 digs. She added three aces and a kill.

Libby Nave turned in 12 digs while Morgan Vallett had eight kills and four aces. Kendall Tipton had six kills, three digs and two aces while Bailey Bryant served four aces.

The Lady Commanders, 10-2 in the district and 16-16 overall, will host Class AAA Portland Wednesday in a 1:30 p.m. matinee.
