LHS hosts MJHS in 'loser-out' game
The stakes couldn't be higher as Lebanon High hosts in-county rival Mt. Juliet in Tuesday's Region 5-AAA semifinal game at Campbell Brandon Gymnasium.

Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. Admission is $6 per person.

Tonight's semifinal winner earns a berth in the regional finals -- and more importantly a spot in the TSSAA sectional (sub-state) Monday, March 6.

Lebanon comes in 23-7 overall and winners of both the District 9-AAA regular season and tournament.

The Blue Devils won their regional quarterfinal game at home Saturday by dusting Kenwood 64-52.

Mt. Juliet stands an impressive 22-9 overall with two regular season losses coming at the hands of Lebanon.

Coach Troy Allen's Golden Bears went on the road Saturday and knocked off Springfield 47-43 in their regional quarterfinal.

Tonight's 6 p.m. game at LHS will feature Clarksville Northeast will take on Beech with the winner advancing to play either Lebanon or Mt. Juliet Thursday in the finals -- again at LHS.

Mt. Juliet are in the hunt for a third consecutive trip to the TSSAA sectional (sub-state) round.
