Trevor West had 11 points for the Saints while Brandon Wall chipped in with eight. Zack Jones and Jackson Harrell had seven points each.

FCS loses at GordonsvilleGORDONSVILLE -- Friendship Christian's losing streak stretched to four games following Tuesday's 63-60 loss at District 8A rival Gordonsville. The defending Class A state champs slipped to 4-11 overall / 1-3 in the district.

Allen Heaston and Anthony Williams each had 16 points for FCS while Zac Anderson added 15.

Friendship visits Trousdale County High Friday, Jan. 25.

Purple Tigers roll past RBSWATERTOWN -- Thirteen Watertown players broke into the scoring column in Tuesday night's 72-26 home win over Red Boiling Springs. Ranked No. 5 in the latest AP statewide Class A poll, Watertown improved to 17-3 overall and 5-0 in District 8A.

Macieo Gaines was the only Tiger in double figures with 13 points. Ty Jobe finished with nine while Ben Bain and Nick Sackman each had six points.

Watertown, a 64-52 loser at Eagleville High Monday, Jan. 21, will host Van Buren County Friday, Jan. 25.

WCHS thumps Beech 81-32SHACKLE ISLAND -- Wilson Central improved to 16-6 overall and 6-3 in District 9AAA after Tuesday's lopsided 81-32 win at Beech High.

Coach Troy Bond's squad went out 19-9 in the first quarter and took a commanding 45-14 lead into intermission.

Jacob Williams did most of the damage for the Wildcats with 27 points, including four 3-pointers. Blake Huffman finished with 10 while Preston Reed and A.J. Franklin each had nine points -- with Franklin burying three 3-pointers.

Wilson Central will host Lebanon High Friday night.

HHS overcomes Lebanon 65-54LEBANON -- A 33-28 Lebanon lead evaporated in the second half as district leading Hendersonville High posted a 65-54 victory over the Blue Devils Tuesday at Campbell Brandon Gym. HHS improved to 14-3 on the season, 7-1 in 9AAA. Lebanon slid to 8-13 overall / 4-5.

Guard Jemel Officer drilled four 3-pointers, including a deep bomb just before the halftime buzzer, to lead the Blue Devils with 12 points. DaShawn McMurray and Eddie McDaniels each had nine and Zach Santana finished with eight.

LHS will visit Wilson Central High on Friday, Jan. 25.

MJHS falls at GallatinGALLATIN -- Mt. Juliet's up and down season continued Tuesday with a 42-34 loss at District 9AAA rival Gallatin High. Coach Troy Allen's Golden Bears fell to 10-10 overall and 5-4 in the league.

Reagan Johnson was the only Mt. Juliet player to break double figures as he scored 10 points. Thomas Sharpe finished with nine and Nolan Chowbay was limited to six points.

Mt. Juliet is scheduled to host Portland Friday, Jan. 25 in a District 9AAA match-up.
