Two face burglary charges

The officers said the two men were reportedly attempting to gain access to the coin mechanism of a vacuum/air machine with a hammer and a crow bar.

It was later determined that the vacuum/air machine had been taken from Cookseys Market at 4721 Carthage Hwy. A search of the suspects vehicle revealed a glass pipe commonly used to smoke illegal drugs. Turner, one of the suspects, reportedly admitting owning the pipe.

Turner has been charged with Criminal Attempt, Theft of Property, Possession of Burglary Tools and Drug Paraphernalia.

Maybery has been charged with Possession of Burglary Tools and Criminal Attempt.

Both suspects are to appear in Wilson County General Sessions Court on Wednesday, July 18. Turner and Maybery have previous arrest records.
